JALYAN’s social impact focused platform is adopting an integrated approach to address some of the key problems in the Indian fisheries sector, including inadequate market access, multi-level structured data gaps, narrow financial inclusion, poor digital literacy, unscientific practices, environmental degradation, water pollution, low farm productivity, costly inputs, unsustainable livelihoods and farm fragmentation, amongst other issues.
